Palmerston areas as
well as the TDZ and
Hudson Creek
Industrial area.
The equipment
operates in the 2.4
Ghz frequency range
which is set aside
specifically for
this type of
service. The
Wireless Internet
Network System (WINS)
will offer
businesses up to 11M
bps Internet
Connection compared
to standard 56K
Modem Dial Up or
64K/128K ISDN
services.
There are no
restrictions on the
way this service can
be utilised, users
are able to connect
to the internet for
high speed access,
able to connect site
offices to a head
office and allows
connection from home
to your office for
security monitoring
and other services.
Arafura Connect will
also be offering
Voice Over IP (VoIP)
across this service
to allow PABX phone
systems to also be
connected.
